A FUN COMMISSION

I was approached by a French couple to design a scarf for the husband's Mother's 80th birthday. 

The scarf had to include all the things she loves: elephants, basset hounds, Paris, Venice, flowers, Buddha, books, cooking, blossom trees, dalmatians, goldfish and vivid colours. 

Initially I was overwhelmed by the list, but that quickly changed to excitement and I had lots and lots of fun. I would like to share the journey;
